pollinator decline

2018

Bees are the #1 pollinator on earth and are responsible for the reproduction of plant life that is essential to the diets of humans, livestock, and millions of other animals around the world.

Pesticides, climate change, and disease are the leading causes of pollinator decline. Since 1962 the number of bees worldwide has dropped drastically and some species are facing extinction.
